Electrical Outlet Covers

What’s best?

Not the all too familiar oval ones a little larger than a quarter.  Sold everywhere and the most popular, these covers/plugs are choke hazards.  Choose wisely….

Use this larger design with holes so a child can still breath if an outlet cover is stuck in their mouth.

Or even better, the sliding outlet covers that close when an electrical plug is removed:

Typical electrical outlet caps/plugs found in retail stores are simple round discs not much larger than a Quarter.

They are choke hazards and can become stuck in a toddler’s mouth preventing air flow and causing suffocation.

Child Proof Advice recommends this outlet plug because it is larger, oval and has two holes on the sides allowing for air circulation should a toddler somehow manage to get this in their mouth.
