Child Proof Advice was established in 2009 to assist the parents and caregivers of preschool age children in providing for a safe home environment. We are fully committed to providing a comprehensive educational program helping caregivers in reducing the number of preventable injuries of children. 

 

Staffed by volunteers, Child Proof Advice incorporates funding from grants, donations and sponsorships to cover the cost of presenting our online training so our message can reach all communities including the underserved. 



OUR OBJECTIVES

First and foremost, our objective is to save a child’s life.  If all of the energy and efforts of this program ultimately save only one child’s life, then our mission has been successful.  Achieving this objective will bring phenomenal success to our program. 

Our objective is accomplished by educating parents and professional child caregivers with our online training and informative resources.  Additional communication efforts include participating in social media groups and providing weekly tips and manufacturer recalls to a large database of caregivers.

 

Expanding our objective are the 100+ safety recommendations found in the Safety Guide which will take every home as close as possible to ensuring a child’s safety and preventing in-home accidents.  Additional products including the American Heart Association Infant CPR Anytime training program, and our Travel Safely with Toddlers tote bag contribute to this success. The products in the tote bag allow you to travel safely with your infant or toddler, and to childproof grandma's home, a hotel room, or a vacation rental property.

An additional objective is to expand the consciousness of everyone about the importance of this program until we are no longer a reactive society in an emergency room, but a proactive society preventing injuries before they can happen.
